Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club is run by its members, for its members, and we are all volunteers.

Volunteering can:

  • Provide you with a sense of purpose

  • Provide a sense of community

  • Help you to meet new friends

  • Increase your social skills

  • Improve your self-esteem

  • Teach you valuable skills

  • Provide job prospects

  • Bring fun into your life

  • Help you be happier

  • Get you out of your comfort zone

Volunteering is also a valuable part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

If you are interested in volunteering at Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club, please complete this application form, and our Secretary will be in touch. If we don't have any current vacancies, we will let you know, and we may get back in touch in the future when we need your support.

All volunteers at Nantwich Lifesaving Club, are given the opportunity to complete qualifications in lifesaving sport, instructing and assessing. These qualifications are fully funded by the club, and you will gain acceditation from the RLSS UK on your Tahdah account. Please use the link below to find out more about the courses offered by the RLSS UK.

During your first 6 weeks as a volunteer at Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club, you will follow a development plan, that will be agreed with your allocated mentor. This induction process will allow you to find out more about the club, the lifesaving programmes we offer, and the teaching techniques we use.

We recognise how much our club depends on the work of its volunteers. The RLSS UK encourages all volunteers to log the time they spend volunteering on their Tahdah account. Volunteers will be rewarded for hitting the targets set by the RLSS UK as part of the William Henry Award. Please use the link below to find out more.
